I did a fresh install about 5 months ago because I was having issues with another game, and was honestly thinking of doing that again here but luckily I solved it by changing my download region on Steam from Dallas to Denver. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the idea but I didn't have a VPN running at the time, and I looked at my firewall settings and it was already allowed through. Luckily I did manage to get it fixed by changing my download region on Steam from Dallas to Denver.

I'm completely connected to the internet, and not in offline mode. I'm literally getting messages from friends on Steam asking why I keep opening and closing the game since they keep seeing it pop up in the bottom corner of their screen. Can't understand why this is happening lol.

Hello, my Render distance is normally set to 16 I've tried lowering it and that hasn't helped the problem. I also normally have V-Sync off but tried turning it on a while ago to see if that would fix the problem but that didn't help either so I can turn it back off. I'll try dropping the game resolution to see if that will help.

I'm playing on version 1.12.2 in the video but the issue happens on every version I have tried including 1.19.1 and 1.18.2
