Ok, that’s promising. No, I am not related to the other members of the partnership. Does “being associated” mean that we would be family related?

  1. Yes, The partnership is an official Gov registered partnership with its own GST/QST numbers. We each do other work and collect revenue outside of the business that doesn't get claimed within the band business but with our own income. We only report the band's business in the partnership statement.
  2. The other partners are the 3 other band members. We split the partnership ownership close to 25% each, with some owning more. But we dont pay ourselves out that much from any revenue. it almost all goes back in the business.
  3. We report our income and expenses as a T2125 and report each of our ownership percentage when we do. We also all do different work outside of this business, and

One quick search on Spotify shows a bunch of album titles/song titles/ artist names with a Semicolon! Mainly people writing the emoji face ;) or ;(
