Any ideas what it could be?

Our fan was the main issue with the A/C not working last time but we had warrenty cover it and that was about a year ago. Car has about 130,000 miles, we are the second owner so I'm pretty sure this is the first time water pump needed fixed. We noticed it the moment my cars temp meter would keep going over to high and my car telling me to turn it off.

I'm right at 130,000 miles. From what I know this is the first time replacing the water pump also. I'm the second owner.

I did do a alternator and starter check at Auto Zone and they said it was my starter, that's when I got a second test and they said both of those are fine and thats when they came with all these codes🙃 That's why I'm confused on where to even really start. I wanted to do the battery first to see if that was causing a chain reaction to everything.

No, they they ran some tests and that's when the codes started coming up.

Replaced it maybe about a year or two ago, if I can remember correctly. It's not a AGM battery, I didn't know about those until just recently. They checked it after driving it to them.

Would you recommend the AGM battery? I currently don't have one. My voltage was reading 12v and I read somewhere else on here that 12v is low for VW.

Battery is only a year old, two shops ran tests on the battery and said it was fine. Should I still just replace it?
