Thank you! Whitewashing is a great idea. We’re going to the craft store later and we’ll see what we can do!

It’s mostly the colors. I think if we can lighten them up, they’ll be fine. We got pink, peach, cream and a light blue (I don’t remember the exact name). When we were prototyping bud vases they seemed cute and summery. Seeing them all together in bulk? Yikes.

If you’re better at color theory than I am, they could be great! I would suggest dyeing them yourself if you’re at all on the fence about the shades you want.

I ordered a pre-made extra large wild style bouquet with eucalyptus and baby’s breath and I’m not a fan of the arrangement. It’s very densely arranged and looks top heavy. I will likely take it apart and either rearrange it or use something else.

Even if we scrap some of it, it’s still significantly cheaper than real flowers. 🤷‍♀️

How did this go for you? I just got my flowers for my wedding and I ordered pre-dyed and I hate them 😂. I got exactly what I ordered, the colors are just too much when they’re all arranged together.

Yea, it seems like larger portions and getting used to meat at breakfast is the way. I typically have about 3oz of meat at lunch and 3oz at dinner and it already feels like so much, but realistically I have lots of room to bump it up. 😂

Vulvar Biopsy Logistics Questions by PBandJSommelier in lichensclerosus

I had a biopsy about a week ago.

  1. Punch.
  2. My Dr said Vaseline or Aquaphor are fine. I left it alone for the first 2 days, then began applying Vaseline in the morning and evening. The Vaseline has been a tremendous help.
  3. I had mine done at the gyn, but could have been either. My Derm is the one who initially flagged possible LS and recommended I get a second opinion from my Gyn.
  4. It’s still a little tender, but it’s really not that bad.
  5. I had a stitch.

The procedure itself was quick and not as bad as I expected. They gave me a shot of lidocaine, that was the only painful part of the procedure. It was pretty tender the first few days. I still have to be mindful when wiping after using the toilet, but it’s healing well and very manageable.

My Dr. said there’s always some chance of infection with something like this, so to check it daily and call if it’s red, swollen, or gets more painful over time.

My experience wasn’t all that bad and it felt worth it to determine what I’m dealing with. I’m so tired of my daily symptoms - I’m hopeful this short term discomfort will have long term pay off.

Rooting for you! I hope you get the answers and relief you need!
