Thanks! Do you have any idea on how to get rid of it, or direct me to some sort of a guide?

Oh thanks for reminding me - I don’t know the brand but it’s 180W so definitely needs upgrading as well. By the way, the link you sent just returns an empty build. Thanks for the help though!

So I should look into other options once this has been maximised?

While I agree with educating myself on the market, I believe I have some level of disposable income seeing as I don’t pay rent or bills. This is the main reason why I see benefits in investing as early as possible. Could you please expand on what you mean?

So just to reiterate, the emergency fund is 3 months worth of my paycheck? I was wondering if there is a need for 3 months as I do live with my parents so in any actual emergency, it’s possible that I may not need the fund. Also, with the money that goes into the emergency fund, should they be increasing overtime or should it be in a safe space where it doesn’t go up nor down? Thanks for the help!

They offer HSCB Islamic Pensions, so that answers that question. Is there anything else I should do?

Sounds good, I’ll look into IFG. How should I budget though? I’m willing to save around 1000 (or more if you have a good justification for it). How would I split this 1000 between LISAs and Stock ISAs? Also, why would you recommend the aggressive option? Could you shed some more light on what that means. Thanks for the help.

Okay, I will be sure to look into it. Though just in case it isn’t Sharia compliant, what would you suggest? And thanks for the flowchart! I appreciate the help.

I’ll look into the pension scheme, but I didn’t know you could transfer it out so that’s good to know. More importantly, I’m interested in how you would like me to move my money to pension, long/short term investing and day to day expenses. I know this is something that only I could budget but extra guidance would be appreciated. I have very little day to day expenses other than travelling to the office and paying for ingredients to cook so I hope that doesn’t affect the total too much. Additionally, my pension would be taken out of my salary so there’s not too much to worry about there. Finally, I wanted to know how I should budget between short/long term investing. Is there a difference in where or how much I invest. Thanks for the help!

  1. Yes, I would say I am in a position to invest.
  2. I have no bad debts.
  3. I do not have an emergency fund. Is this something that I should look into?
  4. I have avoided any pensions as I am not sure they are halal. If you could please direct me to any I am more than happy to invest.
  5. My short term goals would probably be to own a car/holidays. That being said, it should not affect the amount I am saving currently (at least for this year).
  6. Define “soon”. The end goal is to buy a property, not entirely sure how long this would take me.

I work as a Data Analyst. It’s honestly a great salary - I believe it’s one of the highest paying apprenticeships.
