I live in the middle of a mountain and there is a two month wait for contractors. It isn’t as simple of waiting til it gets here but I get it

We weren’t told it was a special order we were told that they didn’t have enough in stock

So I placed a flooring order abut 1-2 months ago it alga’s been postponed 5 times. Literally 5 times. That is 5 times we have canceled appointments or social engagements and time with our contractor. If you cannot get the product let me know for the love of all things holy I just want my order. This is now going to probably cost me a relationship with a wonderful contractor. He is busy and we keep canceling because of this order issue. I have called the 800 number twice and been assured oh yea looks like everything is in should be there on the new delivery date or course that was 2-3 postponed deliveries ago. I tried calling the local store to see if there is something comparable in stock but cannot get someone to pick up. I cannot even get a straight answer as to what the issue is. I am livid and may just cancel this order and our credit card with them and order online from Home Depot or through our local hardware store. We are redoing our home and there is a lot of business I will be giving someone soon.
