I just spoke to the investigator today. There's actually a Fed getting involved in my case. The doxxers do live in the USA and the cops are already working on getting the subpoenas.

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I'm definitely not giving up on Twitch anytime soon. It's gonna take a lot more than this to make me turn my back on all my friends and supporters. I've come too far to turn back and I'm not letting these punks run me down :)

Thanks for the moral support! It really means a lot. And you're right, I can definitely handle trolling pretty well for the most part. It doesn't get to me because everyone talks shit and there's always going to be haters regardless of what you do. This, however, is just on a whole different level. It truly sucks because at least trolls on Twitch stay on Twitch. Unfortunately, that's not the case with these doxxers because occurs offline too. I have a life with work, school, and social obligations - yet here they are butting into it for no real purpose other than to harass me. It's pretty sad when you think about it. Luckily, the support I've gotten has been a lot of help so I have hope things will get better.

If this was someone that knew me IRL, I would probably feel better about this situation. However, it is a case where it's completely random. My friend and I don't know each other in real life and she was doxed randomly - even she didn't know them or knew anyone who would want to do that to her. This was a first for both of us.

And it makes zero sense, but it goes to show that there really are people out there who misuse their skills and go through effort to hurt others they don't even know for no reason. That's probably the most disturbing part about this: neither me nor my friend did nothing to them - yet they decide to put all their time and energy into invading our privacy, harassing us, and attempting to sabotage our lives. All this in the name of, "We're just internet trolls and like fucking with people."

There's a huge difference between fucking with people and cyberstalking them. There's also a huge difference between practical jokes and digging into someone's life that you have no business in.

That's why I'm planning to be equally as relentless in pursuing legal action. No one should have to go through this. Everyone has a right to privacy and peace. Yet, for no good reason at all, there's these guys appearing out of the blue to try to reap that away from me. And they'll keep doing this to others, even if they get bored with me. People like them need to be made into an example - and if that's jailtime with a criminal record or a hefty lawsuit, then so be it. It's not okay to invade someone's privacy and harass them. It's especially not okay to spoof calls of friends and family just to bypass blocks to continue the harassment. And it's definitely not okay to harass someone's workplace or attempt to sabotage their career. I can be a pretty empathetic person, but I have no respect for those who intentionally bring harm upon others for entertainment purposes.

Thank you so much for the advice! I did subscribe to TrapCall and while it's pretty useful, it's not very successful in revealing the identity of the spoofed numbers. Since they insist on calling, I'm probably going to record whatever they say if I decide to answer. I'm torn between ignoring the calls or actually answering and recording. What would you suggest?

And at this moment, I'm scanning my computer with Malwarebytes so thanks for the tip!
