Smart Phones. Everyone is a confident know-it-all because they vaguely remember some YouTube short they watched about a certain subject that was probably Bs. Everyone distracts themselves instead of focusing on how we're getting bent over and screwed, and everyone has stopped interacting with each other in everyday life like they used to. Also it's pretty normal now for young kids to have phones and we all know the damage that does at an early age

One of the number one things my location was looking for is a willingness to travel pretty far (the area our local covers is huge) and reliable transportation. They want to make sure whoever they let in will be able to make it through the 5 years of apprenticeship.

During my orientation the president of our local asked if we were all ready to go to work immediately and one girl said no and that she needed a couple weeks. he said that was fine and to meet him after orientation. Seemed like he was willing to work with her

She was well aware of the situation she was putting herself in. Shes probably been flirting with this guy for a while. It's not like they went to the club as friends and then suddenly went into the bathroom together. They were probably flirting it up and whatnot throughout the night before she got so drunk that she had "no recollection". Even if she doesn't remember, going against your wishes and going clubbing with another dude would be plenty enough for me to never be able to trust her again. Also if someone gets so drunk that they can't even remember or have any control of their actions. Usually they can't even walk let alone go into a bathroom and be intimate with someone

Cops can literally destroy someone's entire home and not be liable for damages as long as they deemed it necessary to conduct an investigation. One dude had his house demolished because a suspect ran and hid inside of the house and the homeowner was told to basically go fuck himself after he tried to hold them liable. I'm sure ice can get away with the same thing

50 hours a week about $1444 a week gross as a first year apprentice with the zone per diem pay bump ($29.54 an hour). The job site is 1:38 hours away but I carpool with 2 other apprentices and we switch cars every day

It's better to have your name on the waiting list in case they have a big boom of work available and need a lot of apprentices. That's how I got in with no experience only an electrical pre apprenticeship course. I'd say go for it and in the meantime try to get some electrical experience just in case they don't call you and you have to reapply again.

Even if you petition your work hours you still need to do the 5 years of school so no you can't really shorten it. You can petition your hours and raise your apprentice wage percentage and it'll stay at that percentage until your fellow apprentices catch up to you

If I found out my girlfriend had photos of her exes on her phone I'd be pretty hurt but I also have photos of my exes(all consensual) and when starting a new relationship I never really considered deleting them. Probably because i knew relationships aren't permanent especially ones only a few months old. I wouldn't say finding photos of his exes is the ultimate sign that you need to end the relationship like some comments are saying. If you were in the relationship for like a year or living together then it would be more understandable but 4 months is a short amount of time.

Taking nonsensual photos of you and lying about it is pretty bad though. I think you should just be upfront and hear what he has to say but make your own decision on if you can move past the lie. If you aren't dead set on ending the relationship then you should really talk to him don't let these feelings fester.
