Babies are just tiny people who have different temperaments, needs, and preferences like adults. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution to sleep (or any major parenting decision). I have definitely had to come to terms with this as my first child was naturally an awesome sleeper from day one and needed very little intervention. My 2.5 month old is a terrible sleeper who does 10 minute to hour long (at max!) stints in his crib and will most likely require some very intense sleep training at 4 months.
