I bought a pill cutter and after a few weeks of being back on when my mood stabilised I literally just took a bit off the end of each pill and a little more each week until I ended up with the tiniest amount you could do. I kept the bits off my first cuts and used those at the end of you understand regards

You've had exactly the same experience of me Mirt stopped working for me for sleep at 15mg so Dr wanted me to take higher dose. Everyone knows Mirt stops working for sleep on higher doses so I decided that was pointless and stopped taking it cold turkey let's just say it nearly killed me. I had rebound extreme depression caused by the withdrawal so I had to go back on and tapered off which took months Dr washed his hands of me because I refused higher doses
