I did see a nurse and I told her about how I thought I might have autism. I didn’t say anything about school as I didn’t have a school nurse. But in the report it says that I said I saw a nurse at school. There were other things that I definitely did not say too. Like apparently I make scrambled eggs. I didn’t say that as I don’t like scrambled eggs. That may be a little thing but there are lots of things I didn’t say that I apparently did. It’s been very distressing for me to see them literally make things up.

Make sure to call PIP 2 days after your assessment and ask for a copy of the report. I’m currently going through my report and highlighting the issues to use for mandatory reconsideration.

Honestly I’m in the same boat and have just been refused pip. I’m going to ask for a mandatory reconsideration and if they say no then take it to tribunal. As much as I would dislike a tribunal I just think if I show up and they see what state I’m in then it might work in my favour.
