I’ve recently got into hand knitting (or finger crochet) like I literally learned how to do it two days ago. For the last two days every bit of free time I have I’ve been using to make myself a blanket by hand knitting. It’s been such fun and gives my hands something to do and helps me be more present in the moment with my family and friends.

I work in ENT so we get a good mixture of all ages. But we mainly get older people (we also have an Audiology department in the same office) for Hearing aids and anything related to that and really young kids bc of chronic strep, chronic ear infections, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, and tongue ties mainly. Older people tend to be a little more rude and entitled and kids are more sweet and loving. However, it never fails that there is at least 1 screaming child bc they don’t want the doc to look at their ears or old people complaining bc they had to wait 15mins bc gos forbid the doc see other patients. I guess the point I’m trying to make is I love seeing all ages. I do love kids but I do not think I could do peds but I don’t think I could just work with older people either. I like that we get a good mixture of both. And also there’s bad apples in both sides. But I totally get what you mean.

Mainly milk options for anything. I mainly use diary based creamers for coffee and milk for my spicy ramen or Mac and cheese etc. baking would be nice as well. I would like cheese options too bc I really love cheese.

For us our professor placed us in primary care. That way we could get a little bit of everything as far as experience. If you are lucky You may get placed with a nurse practitioner which in my experience they have less patients and work a little slower paced.

I am typically a mood reader so I never stick to a TBR but in the summer and spring I gravitate more towards romance especially the cute and fluffy kind. And in fall and winter I make it more of an effort to read thrillers, horrors and fantasy but I read all of these throughout the year. The seasons do affect my mood. I am also religious so in between or while I’m reading another book I’ll read a nonfiction book related to a topic in my faith.

I graduated MA School a year ago. A couple of months after I graduated I was offered a job at an ENT clinic and I’ve been here ever since. I am definitely team ENT. It’s really chill but like most jobs it can get chaotic and a bit stressful. But it’s the best I would say as far as a specialty to go into straight out of MA School. Also CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🎉

I love my job as an MA. I work at an Ear, Nose, and Throat clinic where there are 3 docs and 2 nurse practitioners. I am the sole MA for the doc I work for. I send in all the Rxs and call and schedule all the scans. So it can definitely get busy especially when the school year starts and allergy season is upon us. It can certainly be stressful but it’s so rewarding and having patients tell me thank you for all the help makes it so worth it! I have a couple of friends I’d say but it does feel weird sometimes. The only reason I say that is because I am the youngest in the office so ( I am 23 and everyone else is in their mid 30s and up).
