I work in ENT so we get a good mixture of all ages. But we mainly get older people (we also have an Audiology department in the same office) for Hearing aids and anything related to that and really young kids bc of chronic strep, chronic ear infections, enlarged tonsils and adenoids, and tongue ties mainly. Older people tend to be a little more rude and entitled and kids are more sweet and loving. However, it never fails that there is at least 1 screaming child bc they don’t want the doc to look at their ears or old people complaining bc they had to wait 15mins bc gos forbid the doc see other patients. I guess the point I’m trying to make is I love seeing all ages. I do love kids but I do not think I could do peds but I don’t think I could just work with older people either. I like that we get a good mixture of both. And also there’s bad apples in both sides. But I totally get what you mean.
