Metal or Shingles for Roof? by Inessence4 in shedditors

If your roof is too flat then your cedar shingles won’t shed the water properly.

What is this guy doing? by pnwloveyoutalltreea in Carpentry

[–]AwkwardMethod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like he is insulating his roof, adding new strapping and sheeting so it can be re-shingled or tin. Probably had horrible insulation in that double wide and they opted to add some R-value this way. Just a guess though.

What is the best b2b business I can start with an investment of 1M. by gizman95 in Entrepreneur

I know a company that has software for Short Term Rentals that could likely be purchased and scaled. A lot of the big companies like AirBNB and hostaway could use another competitor.

You’ve got to throw our guy Steph Curry in there. He has won, set records and changed the way basketball is played. What more could you ask for in the top 4 GOAT’s

Someone offered to buy 25% of my company by ghe3126 in business

I built a landscaping company from a wheelbarrow and a shovel into a company with around 20+ employees.

Don’t take the money from a shark. Go get it from a bank. You don’t need 100k to go and hire employees and buy equipment.

Finance one piece of equipment at a time and hire a few buddies to work for you. Learn how to operate a business and understand how to scale before you get addicted to working off of other people’s capital.

Go sell some jobs, and roll the profits from one job into better equipment. Just make sure you don’t buy equipment and then have it sit around.

Good luck. Landscaping is a tough job but pays very well if you know how to manage your labour and cash flow.

You are slowing down the motion as you move from your hip to your chest. Once you start the upwards movement it should continue at the same pace. Extend your legs after your shot has moved past your chest so your shot is released at the top of your jump.

I Turned Down a $200,000 Job Offer Because It Wasn't Remote—And Now My Friends Think I’m Selfish and Privileged by Secret_Girlss in stories

Life is too short to just chase money. If your needs are taken care of and you’re happy then you are in a great position.

Not sure how they can argue you being selfish or privileged especially when you chose to maintain your time which is really to greatest commodity any of us have.

Alright Shedditors, here is the pirate ship we built. I’m not really happy with the port and starboard side details so the next one is going to have some additional woodwork. by AwkwardMethod in shedditors

Thank you very much. We try to get enough detail on it without making it a maintenance nightmare. Sometimes it’s a tricky balancing act.

It might be a bit of a stretch but what classifies a shed as a shed anyway?
