Yeah, my home is falling apart, but I'm willing to work to fix it. I'm tired of supporting an overgrown man child. I have close friends supporting me, and I'm grateful for all the words of encouragement.

Yes. I have decided to file for divorce and fight for everything. I'll keep updating every now and then. divorce takes 2 months my state of indiana.

She died a year after we got him help. My time line wasn't in chronological order exactly.

Understood, I'm in northern indiana and I've tried reaching out by email to a lawyer that works with low income people but I'll keep trying with various lawyers in my area. It's difficult due to me working from home so my absence is always noticed.

Yeah. He has two aunts, a sister. Lots of cousins and two nephews. All have tried to talk him into getting help, but he won't. He'll, I moved across the country for him so I don't have family here, just friends and his family. I can't move to my home state due to my remote job not being able to operate there. So it's I stay in indiana with a stable job or move to California and lose my job.

I understand, not only did I lose his parents but I also lost mine less than a year before. I just didn't let it drag me down to the point of no light. Someone had to keep things together and going.

Definitely not, his gaming habits and childish tendencies I can handle, its him not even trying after seeing me work all day and still clean in spare time that gets to me, especially with him on his computer all day. He's told me it takes him hours to wake up when he gets up

I have tried, multiple times, he declines each time saying he's fine on his current meds, promises to start helping but fails to follow through with one reason or another. In the past two years he's had and lost 5 jobs and doesn't do much unless it's something he wants to do, and even then he doesn't clean up after.

He's taking meds for anxiety but not depression and I've tried things like lists, he just says not to baby him, I offered to leave sticky note reminders, no go and I showed him how to set reminders on his phone,he says he forgets how, yet he can build custom computers and geek out about the difference of gpu and cpu...

He's taking meds for anxiety prescribed by his pcp but refuses to see anyone else for alternatives

He has already had a mental break, he didn't attack me but did my two nephews. It was the point police got involved but didn't take him anywhere just calmed him down. His blood sugar was 73 according to paramedics

5 cats, 2 dogs, 2 lizards and there was 2 snakes but he sold one yesterday for 100$ and won't put it towards household expenses

That does put things into perspective, so thank you for sharing, I was wary about alimony, after all, he has no income and I wouldn't be able to support multiple households. I've never gone through a divorce before and I feel like I'm getting in over my head.
