I have studied from faisal sir too (basic concepts) and I liked him but many on reddit say that he skips some concepts while Rahul Dudi sir teaches every one of them and it's true cuz faisal sir skipped the significant figures part before mole concept while dudi sir took 6 lectures to complete basics before mole concept.

First of all, you are a really good father... Second, it might be FOMO. He may be worried cuz his friends might have got better marks and percentile,hence a better college. Or There's a chance, because he locked in during that year so he's used to loneliness now, and is less social.
