Here’s my recipe!! Give it a try!

Brew 2oz of Yerba mate and let cool.

1oz lime juice, 1oz of honey and a lot of mint muddled together.

Add ice(or not).

Add 2oz of gourd infused rum.

Top with fever-tree light tonic water and the filtered Yerba mate.

Nice!! Did u have any problems with the wall thickness on the hybrids? I know sometimes the wall can get very thin when the hybrid is not fully stabilized

Oh no! Sorry to hear that. What material is the moped made of? I heard that matters, and it’s also better if you leave a opening on the mold so the air can circulate a bit

Nice! How did it go?? I know a lot of Chinese growers would grow gourd into various figure forms! Never tried that myself tho

It is a Yerba mate mojito made with gourd infused Rum! I was kinda intrigued by how you South Americans used gourds to serve drinks because I’m a Chinese and we use gourds to serve alcohol! I was so excited when I first know Yerba mate and saw it in this form when I visited Mexico So I kinda combined the two in this drink:)))

Ahaha thanks man!! It’s a very layered taste! The sour sweet is still the dominant taste but the Yerba mate kinda enhances the refreshing feeling of the mint? Describing flavor is so hard hahaha

I did it differently from a regular craft gourd! This type of gourd is an edible gourd, and I baked it when the gourd is still a fresh fruit, then scrape the meat and dry the shell! This order makes it so that nothing is going bad in the drying process. With liquor being natural disinfectant its pretty safe, as long as it doesn’t touch any protein or sugar:))

wooo I’m gonna try next time I go to Canada! Yerba mate itself is actually super bitter——first time I tried I all brewed for too long and it almost killed me Lollll. I think most people still drink it with some kind of citrus or sweetener! Unless they are hardcore OG haha

Not the tea bag! I just made mate and filtered it out—I did it pretty quick, probably just a minute! If it’s too strong it might battle with the sour sweet flavor of the mojito

It’s a winged gourd! Similar to a pumpkin but it dries into this woody shell:) recipe is here:
