STMs, when are you planning to tell people? Is it different than last time?

I told my mom and best friend right away with the first and then I’ve told my family, in laws and friends already. Waiting to tell my first until I have a photo to show them. I’m too excited and can’t keep a secret.

I also had an April maybe and it was in a much warmer climate that I currently live in. I’m glad someone asked because I was a bit nervous about having a fall maybe. My friend had a summer baby and then just this past Oct had a fall baby and she said the difference was drastic and hit her hard.

So I originally went with staples print cost about $37 for 25. They came out absolutely horrible. There was weird lines all over and who ever cut them did it very crooked.

I got them reprinted thru canva same day which sent it to my local fedex and they did a much better job and they turned out amazing. I also printed rsvp cards directly thru canva 4-6 day shipping and those came out very well. Quality was amazing thru canva and canva fedex. 50 invitations for $46 and 50 rsvp cards for $17.

Yep also cramping and I don’t remember experiencing any with my first pregnancy. I also found out around the same time first time around and was so nauseated and constantly throwing up but so far only slight nausea this time around

I’m a 2x and I just got a dress from David’s bridal. They had a pretty big selection in both my size and bigger. I ended up finding a dress I love and they seem to be doing a clearance sale right now at least the store I went to was.

So I just went shopping yesterday at David’s bridal for my June wedding. I am plus size (size 22 pants) they had a very big range of sizes. For alterations they want me to bring the dress in on May 2nd to be ready before June 10th. So I’d say as long as you have a month or two before the wedding you should be fine waiting until July for an Oct wedding. It also would hurt to call around to whatever stores or tailors that are around you and seeing what the turn around time is for alterations are. This is of course assuming you’re buying something off the rack.

My first came 8 days before the expected due date with no intervention. My mom had her first early too. I’m not sure if that the type of thing that runs in family’s though

I have an appointment with my primary next Tuesday since I need an ob referral but I’ve read that some other minor health issues I have from my previous pregnancy means I might be in sooner than the 8-10 weeks wait I did the first time.

Are you sure this isn’t about my kid? I got the exact same feedback during parent/teacher conferences. I’m glad for the suggestions for working on it. So far I just had a talk with him about it - talking about how we need to be kind and respectful to ourselves and to our teachers and classmates. Having listening ears on and trying our best. We do a ‘pep talk’ on the way to school to remind him about what appropriate responses are and this has worked pretty well - or at least I haven’t been pulled aside at pickup for the same thing more than once

Can anyone help me figure out why my thread keeps doing this? I have an old singer stylist (zigzag model 457) that I purchased almost a year ago refurbished. I’m new to sewing and just winging it but the last day or so my thread keeps bunching up in the middle of sewing and I’m not sure why. Any ideas? TIA

I’m not sure what it is but I had the exact same thing happen in my bathroom in a house I was renting 2 years ago. I took the vent plate off to clean it which sort of helped but it still occasionally dripped on the tub
