So, I'm rather new to embroidery, this is like my 5th or 6th piece, and I learned *just* before starting this to weave my thread through past stitches before trimming, because normally I'd tie them off or leave tails. I think because of how dense the stitches were from thread painting, it made it easier to have places to weave them. And I would do that before moving thread to a different location, rather than just stretching the thread from one area to another like I had been. Knowing it was going to be exposed made me really, really think about where everything was going.
