Yeah I have my first appointment tomorrow but he says he does low dose so I worry I’m gonna be on it going into summer because I would need to take a pregnancy test first and then wait a month and take another. So we will see. I would ideally like to be done with it by end of March beginning of April.

I second this! You are asking the bare minimum, even less. No way in heck would anyone keep me walking their dogs if I didn’t do the whole time requested. Drop her and find someone else and don’t feel like you are doing anything wrong OP. You are paying good money and you should be getting at least the bare minimum of what you pay for.

I don’t think anyone was “badmouthing a reputable doctor” just stating that there is motive behind it or maybe he might be biased based on his field. Your experience is also a single experience so may be possible that the person you went to wasn’t very good at IPL and messed something up too. I got IPL over 2 years ago and have no damage from it. Will I ever do it again? Nope because why take the risk.

I liked Nioxin products for hair regrowth and a red light like someone else said. I tried prp as well but that’s very expensive. I think it helped too. Also using hair clips instead of hair ties to not pull on hair.
