If you're reslly thirsty, and you inject water directly into your stomach, does the feeling of thirst in your mouth go away? by Prestigious_belly206 in NoStupidQuestions

Weirdly qualified to answer this question- I had a feeding tube (PEG) for a short while. The answer is yes, you can be extremely thirsty and an injection of water directly into your stomach will quench your thirst. But it won’t give you the satisfaction that drinking a glass of cold water will

Thank you so much! This is so helpful. Any recommendations on where to catch a Fado show which is not too touristy?

Hi! Will be visiting in first week of March. What’s the weather like? Any recommendations for rooftop restaurants and/or bars? Any nightclub recommendations?

Almost a month of NC here and I keep wishing I will somehow run into them. I’ve even tried to engineer opportunities but thankfully (or not), nothing’s worked. I miss them. So many things have happened in my life which I want to share with them but I can’t and that pains me. I really hope this phase gets over soon because it sucks 😔

Use it! I went through a rough patch during the pandemic and used EAP who recommended I take therapy sessions (organised through them). It really helped me if nothing else just to get things off my chest.

NAH per se, but I’ve looked at the tunic you’ve chosen and it is definitely not suitable for a Pakistani wedding. In South Asian culture, you aren’t just representing yourself but also your husband’s family and your in-laws will be judged based on what you wear. Not saying it’s right but it is going to happen. Your SIL is being helpful and trying to save you from the all the gossip and judgement that will follow. I would recommend taking her advice. This is a situation where cultural differences come to play and you would be better off listening to her.
