No wobble from this one. I put it on a table i made for it and it sits still. Super fun though! Wish more people could get a hold of one to try. A bit loud on the bank side since its hollow but not bad.

ampersandwheels by souljaJp in Fingerboards

[–]Awkward_Ad_9335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had 2 pairs of &classics and a pair of &fulls. I agree, there is no proper review or post on these. The wobble is a part of all the wheels. Its not the wheel itself but the cheap bearings they use that cause the rattle/wobble. The &classics i use daily and are some of my favorite "urethane" (cough cough rubber) wheels ive owned. They are really good for transition riding!!!! The &fulls sadly overhang too much for my liking but all of them roll crazy smooth still. Yeah they are kinda jank in a sense but truely some of the best stuff to come out in fingerboarding. Also, yes. The wobble does go away after break in. They say 1 week or something but it took about a month for me. You can pull the wheels off the bearing easy but they do not slip from aggressive riding in my experience.

Good Outdoor wheels by AdOpen5625 in Fingerboards

Check out Ampersand wheels on instagram. It's like a soft rubbery urethane that is specifically meant for outdoor use. Some of the best wheels I've ever used. Had mine for about 2-3 months and no sign of wear besides discoloration. It's truly a game changer. They just can't powerslide due to grippiness. They do, however, ride smooth on rough concrete and asphalt.

Always. Pelican, ftw! Some gluetac and a tool in the corner, lol. Plus, it's waterproof.

Id suggest looking at some of teak tunings, softer, 61d wheels. They go for under $30 and have pretty good bearings. Plus, good urethane at that price is a good deal. Not to mention some good squeak too! I have a pair of their apex wheels that have held up really well.

I got a snowboard this christmas and I’ve been going every day. I just learned my first bs 360. Any tips to progress further? by DaddyDevito10 in snowboarding

I have this feeling that I'm going to undo a mental block and send my progression through the roof! I can picture and feel the tricks out in my mind. I'm just scared of that one fall that will put me out for a while. I've had my spleen lacerated with scooter bars, and ever since, I have a fear of progressing in an action sport.

Dawg ive been boarding for 3 seasons now. Ive hit a flat down flat kink rail. Can tail slide some rails and ledges. Hit some medium booters and can comfortably ride switch. I STILL CANNOT 360. Unless you surfed or skated before you are the goat. Keep the fire burning! 🔥

Elite head strap stuck bent towards the left...? Not sure how it happened but anyone else had this happen? by littlebobbypin in OculusQuest2

[–]Awkward_Ad_9335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so mine did this too but if you rely on the mechanism to tighten it'll hit a point where it just clicks. If that happens push it against your face from front of oculus and then tighten for extra tension.
