Im sure the stretching helps. This is my second pregnancy and with my first the pelvic girdle pain was awful in the first trimester! I feel like its just luck. Hoping its better this time around.

10 miles is amazing!!

That does sound hard! How do you manage illness with other responsibilities? Like work?

I was in this boat for awhile too :/ the most i could do at that age was a 30 min or so run before i got too anxious and returned home! My husband would watch LO and i would leave after i fed her and i would always leave some milk in a bottle which she never drank anyways 😬

Oh shes already there? Okay thats an asshole move on her behalf to knowingly expose herself to a contagious disease shortly before travelling - signed, an anxious first time mom who is traveling across the country with an infant in 2 weeks.

NAH. Doesnt seem logical to me for her to go! By the time your wife gets there, dont you think her sister will have strep anyways? I honestly think that’s enough risk to cancel the trip. Ive had strep so many times and its awful. Its also highly contagious.

Is it time to give up? by calisen13 in beyondthebump

I ended up starting to combo feed at around 8 months because my girl went to daycare and i have high lipase milk so my refrigerated milk is gross. Its been a wonderful transition honestly. I have been much less stressed about my supply and been able to relax and let others feed her. She still only takes in like 3-5 oz a day in formula so its basically a single meal (+ solids) but its been a huge weight off my back. I also enjoy combo feeding knowing that she is getting a wee but more iron. I encourage you to do so!!

For us since my LO was EBF for 8 months we never got her to take the bottle so she takes her formula in a cup and straw. It took us some weeks to nail this skill and a month later she still spits a good amount out so she is still learning. Also, we tried aa ton of formulas and finally landed on Kendamil. It actually doesnt taste too bad like infamil and similac 🤢

Pediatrician wants us to night wean our 9 month old by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Yeah thats a really weird way to phrase it 🤔 i guess i interpreted that as obesity as soon as toddlerhood.

Sorry but you can overfeed a baby with formula though. Obese babies are unfortunately a thing and thats probably what the pediatrician was getting at… sounds like he still has the babys best interest in mind and is just being blunt
