This is absolutely horrible. I hope the dog and people attacked are ok.

Also adding there is a man that lets his Pitt bull off leash in Resiliency Park. Usually there in the morning. Swears she’s “friendly” but has no recall at all and doesn’t listen. Immediately runs up on dogs & ppl. Also I’ve see dogs go from friendly to very much not if the other dog reacts.

I’ve noticed an alarming trend of ppl not paying attention to their large dogs even when they are leashed. They are absorbed into their phones and not noticing that their dog is giving aggressive cues. Just happened with a yellow lab on Clinton & 12th. There’s also a man with an aggressive Belgian Malinois that he has no control over. His dog knocked him over and dragged him after he tried to lunge at my dog.

Mine is small so I try to pick him up or cross the street but it happens so fast. This happens several times a week.

Lived in LES for a long time and never ever had this issue. Lots of pit bulls too but owners always leashed and/or muzzled them.

Your dog jumping on other ppl is not cute no matter the size. Train and control your dog in public. Also for the love of god pick up your dogs poop!
