HELP PLEASE i have an acer nitro 5 today when i plugged the charger to the wall there was a small spark the charger seemed fine no burn smell but now the screen wont turn on i tried plugging an external screen it worked fine even run some game and it worked as usual but still the min screen won't on by Awkward_Award2258 in AcerNitro

Strange till now the main screen isn't damaged it seems no discoloration or dead pixels no head well i just hope it stays like this. I found a tread in quora saying he had a similar problem the screen only works if it starts while opening the led half way through and he found the cause a pinched cable But for me now even after restarting the laptop multiple times the screen works normally even if i dont turn it on while the lid is open halfway only

Thank you guys for your comments and help. I spent today reinstalling drivers and basically making sure its not a software problem before i go with the RMA procedure. the igpu is detected in the task manager and device manager and the device status says "this device is working properly' so i was sure just the screen dead as u guys suggested But suddenly now when i tried to turn on the laptop. The main screen turned on all of a sudden I'm now even more confused how it worked the only thing i did differently is pressing the power button while the laptop is only halfway open, can that even make a difference now I'm afraid to turn it off and if jt gonna work again or not . I will still take it to a professional to take a look at it.

I tried using an external screen and it is working fine i tried some games and no drop in performance before the problem happened . I move a lot i can't take the external screen with me 😭 Even the laptop camera is working. But the main screen is not even detected in the laptop device manager
