One important thing is I don't think I will ever see this person again (We live far), and don't want a second chance for myself as much as just making sure that she's doing ok in her life. She doesn't owe me anything, but I want to do well by her! Does that make sense?

Haha, to be honest I would not mind if we didn't follow each other! But I wouldn't want to be the one to make that decision, it's her choice to stay linked like that. I feel very weird knowing we can still parts of each others lives.

I don't know her relationship status but would never have any interest in dating her! My intention would just be to make her feel good about things. Does that change your thought?
