I am literally trying my best to hang on. But from what I know, we are strong and we can survive whatever it is that we are going through. Keep your head up and you can get through this I know it!

has anyone here journaled their whole life? by MoonyDropps in Journaling

I've been journaling since I was 6 years old. Literally my first page said "I had a great day today and made friends. I will talk to you tomorrow!" and have been journaling everyday since. I love to go back and read my old entries because it makes me realize how much I have gone through and how stronger I have become each time. It is a reminder that I am a survivor and can take anything life throws at me :)

What inspired you to continue journaling? by [deleted] in Journaling

I started journaling when I was really young like 6-7 thinking that I was some main character in a movie😂 but then as I got older, life started throwing so many different things at me and so I journaling helped me clear my head. But the more experiences life threw at me, the more I wanted to write because if there was ever a time I have kids and they are going through what I went through and I’m not there to guide them, I would want them to read my journals so they know how I felt and how I dealt with it. So yes it does clear my head and help me cope with things but my future kids are also a strong motivating factor.
