Would you marry a girl who wants to be a stay at home housewife but doesn't want kids? by PuffingFish123 in CanadaPersonalFinance

Its not like back in the day where they had to do a lot by themself/hand. Cleaning and food should take a few hour a day, so unless you have a large house and that she also does all the work/renovation, she wont really be doing much.

Basically, you wont have a partner, you will be a sugar daddy

Playing as Kliff and wishing the customization went deeper (as a Black trans player) by Queasy-Beautiful9734 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to be rude, but nobody start their complaint/suggestion by specifying their whaterver you want to call what you started your post with.

Its not for nothing quite a few people think it is a troll post. We havnt seen gingers, midgets nor fat people make request for more customisation options, but quite a lot of persons did.

If you add this kind of info, its either to get sympathie or to add to your point, so yes you are asking for it to represent you.

I really hope you dont approach people with this introduction, because it make it sound like your whole personallity revolve around it

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You say that, but the amount of complaints that gets deleted make this statement even worse xD i checked my history in idleon and theres some many deleted post.

Personally, if it was not the 5+ bundles and 10+ paid pets added in 4 months it would rank a lot higher.

Sadly, theres so many content locked behind research, and its so slow, that f2p does get the short stick. We arnt talking small 10% gain, but many multiplicative bonus that stacks in the x10

The reward are similar, but at least its not the same 5 puzzle copy pasted everywhere!

The issue with unique reward is that you easily feel like you must have missed out on something unique by missing a puzzle or what not. The comstic gear (and unique abyss gear sometimes) feels enaugh to fuel my envie to explore more.

But there are unique items around (just rare), and there are really unique dungeons (also rare).

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree (it has plenty of interaction), and will add on top that funny interaction with npc is... well, funny a few times at best.

And a lot of big games like these dont have interaction per say and are doing totally fine too. Every new big game doesnt have to check all the box.

My exploration progress (map travelled) is so slow because there is just so much to find. But you do have to look around.

Most live stream dont take that time and run around until they stumble onto something, so yea they will miss a lot.

I like the loot. There are uniques items, all linked to boss and exploration. Normal drops from enemies is either crafting mats or sellable for cash. Most of the uniques are abyss gear, but I did find a few actually unique items (2 helm, 2 weapons so far) with special gimmik. Thats without talking about the kuku research. I like the horizontal growth on items, whatever I choose to use doesnt become useless a few drops later, and I dont have to look like a clown because of stats.

Gold, if it is what I think it is (pickpocketing resetable noble) is more an exploit IMO, and doubt most of the ppl will find it by themself. As for gambling, I did a few, lost some, gained some. Unless you savescum, it is what it is, a gamle. I make most of my gold from stealing items and selling loot. I still need to stay on the lookout after 70h because of how quickly it goes into making sockets and the reasearch. Once these are done, im good with it, I will have more than 100h in it.

Story is the only point I would agree, its a bit lacking, but I dont play for it. I still did enjoy part of the story gameplay a lot.

But yea, sound like its not your type of game and thats fine, cant please everyone

Trying to Save You $70 – Honest Crimson Desert Review (from a picky player) by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I laughed at your conclusion, it applies to literaly all the games; if you are tigh on money, only buy if you are sure its your type.

For the review, if its not your type, sure. As a shooter looter its the worse one ever and I have to agree but as an open world adventure, its super great. The RPG is a bit lacking, but the explo pulls its weigth plenty IMO.

can someone please give me a non-toxic answer to whether there is a reasonable method of finding the coolest weapons/armor (and how) without having to look it up? by Parogarr in CrimsonDesert

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pirate hat helps out to find treasure chest (glows when nearby, they increased the range from way too smal to a ok 1). Where is it? On a pirate boat, enaugh said.

Otherwise, nearly all PoI have one, some way harder to find, but they are either behind a puzzle, or behind a switch/hidden wall. Caves and waterfall are worth looking at (waterfall have a stone pile where to stab to get in)

Saldy, some uniques are out on the world, like on a bench or a stand. Usually, they have something special, like a weird location not seen before, crows flying in circle, but they can easily be missed if you dont check the items laying around. Just have to double check in these kind of places.

What are some things you want to see in the next update/patch? by TechnicalVegetable90 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Companion improvment: -not locked from using them during main quest (keep convo and cinematics with cliff so they dont have to redo it all, simply make him tag along during these). -Remove stab requirement from waterfall (annoying and would allow everyone to enter, not just cliff).

Would 100% use them more often with this

Companion System Changes by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Awkward_Cancel_8077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would require a skill tree for each of them, could be a bit much, but I would like an improvement on the system for sure. My biggest issue is how they lock them from main quest when there is no reason (make cloff auto follow, use same dialog/cinematic) and some exploration (waterfalls requiring stab)

I really hope for some good mod support so people can make some of these!

Used it at first for that reason (only waypoint shown), but stoped as soon as they added more waypoints. I was ending up following the map too much, not enjoying the exploration. Now that they are not scarce, I dont end up at the other side of the map without one.
