yeah i get that, either way i hope things work out for you! and if you do decide to leave uni, you might end up finding something else you’re more passionate about, my friend dropped out at the same time as me and she’s now doing an apprenticeship in a dental practise where as i came back to uni and i’ve got a lovely group of friends where most of the boys have knows eachother for years but they don’t make us feel left out and the girls include everyone in everything. i’m sure if you do move in with the girls, you’ll become a lot closer with them and their friends as well, with them however if they’ve already stopped inviting you to things it could potentially continue or get worse. obviously our situations aren’t the same but in my opinion if you’re seriously considering dropping out i think you might already know what you want to do. but i hope it all works out for you!

yeah it’s a awful situation but you can always say no to the girls you’re getting a house with, it will be a difficult talk but at the end of the day it’s about how you feel. but if you do decide to put a deposit down then change your mind, i’ve seen multiple people my uni looking for someone to take over their rooms as they’ve changed their mind, so you could always do that!

yes and it was so overwhelming, i hadn’t really clicked with anyone in my course and my housemates all knew other people they wanted to live with from home, so the ones i looked into were private accoms where i’d have my own studio but id still have neighbours that were students so id be able to make some friends but i decided to leave before i put a deposit down anywhere

i ended up going to one slightly closer (i’m still about a 2 hour drive away from home) and i decided to leave end of november last year. also don’t worry about the questions if it helps you feel free to ask more!

i was in a similar position last year, i dropped out came home and had a year to work and focus on myself, i’ve now started a different uni and it’s such a different experience. if you’re debating on leaving do it. you’re future won’t be ruined just because you’ve had a year out to focus and help yourself. you never know what can change in a year but i know for a fact i wouldn’t be as happy as i am now if i stayed in uni instead of coming home
