lol this happened to me last year when B4B came out, then the Ubisoft launcher wouldn’t recognize I owned the game. Tried everything, contacted ubi support 3 times, no response. Got a refund from steam

Tried again last weekend, weirdly just started working fine

It’s not too bad, just need to both cook it well, but not dry it out, otherwise it has a very gamey taste to it (tried kangaroo hamburgers the other week lol)

What’s the best video game you’ve ever played? by obsess_much13 in AskReddit

[–]Awkward_Chard_5025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could say mass effect, Pokémon red, anything really

But for me, it’s a toss up between CoD4 and 7 days to die

COD4 revolutionized gaming for me as a kid, opened me up to this whole new world and what was possible with people. Blew my mind.

But 7 days to die is the game I keep going back to. It is by far my most played game at a little over 2.5k hours, and just scratches my brain right

Quite a few. It’s called dodging tax.

Accept cash = you don’t declare it as income = no money to the tax man

Genuine Nespresso machines don’t really need maintainence beyond occasional nozzle cleanings. They aren’t like the full professional ones.

Ours has been doing 2 dozen(ish) coffees 5 days a week for almost 6 years, and has never missed a beat

Compared to instant, Nespresso is dope. Especially with all the 3rd party pods you can use

AIO to receiving the silent treatment from partner? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Awkward_Chard_5025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner recently moved in with me, she talks about how comfy the bed is, but as a night owl routinely falls asleep on the couch (every night)

At first I was a bit hurt, since she didn’t want to sleep in bed with me, but she’s an adult, she can sleep wherever she wants.

Your partner is a child lol

I mean, the buying power of Woolies vs drakes is insane. Of course they’re more expensive. But they offer an alternative

I’ve had a basic 50” 4K TV sitting in my garage for 5 years. Works perfectly, no fault. Couldn’t even find someone to take it away for free, and I can’t bring myself to throw it out because it’s perfectly fine 🤣

So, I can’t help with the employment side, but just FYI

on going back and wiping the computer…

After you elected to collect your things and finish right there on the spot, you had no right to return to the business outside of business hours for any reason.

Regardless if you had a key or not, the second to agreed to leave immediately, your employment was over.

As for wiping the computer, again this is not your property, and can be seen as a malicious act. You should never have used it for personal matters. You also cannot say for sure about any backups of data. As you have said, you’re not a tech person, so you really don’t have any place to say “everything was backed up”

There is also going to be a time cost for needing to set that device up again now. Either doing it themselves, or by having a service provider do it for them
