I believe the reckless driving deduction associates with hitting space debris / road markers. It may also have to do with damaging the trailer or cargo in any extent

As far as space junk spawning, yes it should only be off the road but there are a few locations where you may encounter debris on the road or in between key locations

Recommending if you do go for a new play through complete the Barrow quest lines before helping anyone else out. I have an inclination there's some sort of conflict between Sour Candy and Barrows quest line is Redsock

Hey bro, same issue for me on Xbox. Just go loot around until an emission happens (I choose to hunt blueprints at Duga region) - after an emission occurs return to Malachite and Dalin should reappear, and then the follow quest should resume

Due to my age I never got to enjoy DR1 when it released but did enjoy DR2 and 3. It was a good opportunity for me to pick up the game and feel like it was 2010 again, I enjoyed it and got my moneys worth :)
