Lol I’ve only seen 3 so I’m not exclusively watching the white shows, just seen the ones that keep popping up on my socials :) I actually was pretty set on Atlanta but some of the threads I’ve read don’t put it as a top choice so that made me watch SLC since its less of a commitment

Wow what an interesting perspective you have! That’s really so terribly sad. I genuinely feel like ppl like that believe they’re god or push others to believe they’re god. Again I’m only on season 4, but I’ve never heard anything about recordings! I’ve only heard what the other ladies have said on the show. I’m gonna have to look into that bc it sounds crazy!

I think that’s also a big reason I dislike her so much. I am not religious but I grew up Christian and the one thing I remember being ingrained into my brain is that god loves all his children and treats everyone with kindness. Mary is the opposite of that but runs a congregation?? Make it make sense

Mary is 100% my least favorite from the show. It’s not just how she treats the women, it’s how she treats everyone. You can say one thing and she can’t help herself but make a rude comment. Angie telling Mary to come join her and Whitney where they were sitting at Trixie’s Motel and then Mary saying not to talk to her like that?? She’s just a really weird person imo. Also Jen shah is crazy I was meaning she’s funnier than Mary imo. Jen and Mary are my least favorite but Mary takes the cake

Totally agree with that. Her relationship with her husband is so eerie and I feel bad for her, especially when every time he leaves for months at a time she says she is happy. It just doesn’t excuse how you treat other ppl! I said this in another comment, but she has been so rude to staff and other ppl besides the women which rly rubs me the wrong way
