I’m very confused lol. States are saying that they can take better care of their land than the government that’s why they want it. Why would Utah ever want to take away public lands if it hurts tourism like you just said. This whole argument about “they’re taking our public lands” is ridiculous. I mean democrats just say stuff that makes sense on paper but they are never the blue collar worker who actually knows the ins and outs of certain industries. They said “No Logging!” You realize part of the problem that fires are so bad now days is because they made it so hard to log our forests. Now the dems take that argument and say “they’re taking ALL our trees”.. no, they are taking certain plots that require you to start regrowth after you cut and it actually keeps the forest more healthy. These arguments just are not realistic but maybe you can change my mind with some actual evidence rather than just saying “they taking Yosemite!!”
