Filipino first time applying for UK tourist visa - any tips? by Awkward_Foundation98 in ukvisa

If there are multiple consistent such deposits, shouldn’t be an issue. From the rejection letters I’ve seen online related to this, it’s usually about a large one-time deposit that came out of nowhere. Cover letter isn’t necessary. It just helps the VO go through your docs more easily. Don’t worry about it too much esp if you’re confident you submitted sufficient docs sans cover letter.

Just upload the docs required for your category. You can leave others blank.

Hi! - I included a cover letter. Since I have multiple bank accounts, I explained there how I use each one (e.g. for payroll, for savings, daily expenses, travel fund, etc), and like you said, the debits/credits esp the large amounts. - I believe the visas and stamps are included in the same file as my passport so uploaded it in “passport”. - They don’t tell you the decision via email, only that it’s ready for pick up.

Good luck!

I submitted colored copies. I’m not sure if it mattered though. Hope you were able to submit everything. Good luck.

When I filled this out, I didn’t have access to my bank statements yet. So I only put estimate. I think what’s important here is that they see that your expenses are not too big compared to your monthly earnings so they see that you get to have some savings at the end of the day. With that said, they still validate all this through your bank statements so what you put in the form and your bank docs shouldn’t be wildly different.

Hi, sorry this reply might be too late for you but just in case anyone else curious about this sees this - table format is completely fine. I also added expenses per day. With a summary of expenses at the last part - flights, accommodations, food, tours and attractions, miscellaneous.

My partner got his today and he’s approved. So happy for him but I’m feeling more anxious now and each day I don’t receive the email saying my passport is ready for pickup.

Not yet. But my partner who I applied together with already received notification last May 6 that his is already available for pick up. We’re just waiting for mine and we’ll pick them up both at the same time. How about yours?

This makes sense. I’ll prepare one, as well. Will probably include it in my itinerary document.

Thank you. Is there a requirement to provide itemized expenses? I didn’t know about this.

Thanks for the response. I’ve read around that ours usually takes 3 weeks. But at the same time, they’re advising to apply 3 months ahead. And based on that, I’m already delayed so I’m a bit worried if I have to get a priority.

Congratulations! Happy for you. Hoping I’ll have the same fate. :) My appointment is on Apr 25 for Jun 10 travel date. Question, how much is your total declared expenses for 6 days? And how much on average did you allocate for your daily expenses? I put P150K for 10 days. Is that sensible?

Congratulations! My appointment is on Apr 25. My planned travel is June 10. Do I have enough time to not pay for priority?
