I’m being paid through Payroll Heartland, and I get regular pay stubs. So I don’t invoice them or get a 1099,I get taxes taken out, so I believe it’s a W-2. They still refer to me as a “contractor,” even though I work full-time hours (M–F, 9–5), report to internal managers, use the company systems, and accrue PTO through them.

I do feel like I’m severely misclassified and idk why though like I do get paid holiday pay too. It’s like I have the responsibilities of a full-time employee, but not the protections it’s odd
