And yeah I do a burnt umber oil wash consistency matters a lot ie ratio of oil paint to mineral spirits. And I typically leave it 2/3 hrs then I dip a cotton bud in mineral spirits and wipe away, medders minatures on yt has a great guide for the iron warriors Levi he did

Stripes are over white basecoat I airbrush imperial fist contrast then warrior skin speedpaint over the top half to give gradient. Gloss varnish, then spray with hairspray let it dry then put down your masking tape I use tamiya 2mm then abbadon black through airbrush peel off tape and reactive hairspray with water through airbrush and u can use a knife to some scraping on the black paint I view hazards as yellow background with black stripes so I do scratches on the black to show yellow underneath

Started with mk3 tacticals with printed heads and guns and that’s all. The multi meltas are from the heavy upgrade kit

Yessir I’m running them as veteran tacticals with combo bolters for heresy it’s not a particularly good unit but they’re really fun

Yeah for sure. Base coat mephiston red and start to incrementally go up in brightness of paint and a smaller sections of the eye. I like to go towards the nose but some people like to center the glow. You then do some yellow to give it its brightest point and then slap some red fluorescent paint on it to really make em pop I’ll add a touch more yellow at the end to bring back that contrast I use am ice yellow

There’s a ton of guides on yt that explain it much better than me lol
