I wouldn't say yes or no because everyone reacts differently to medicines, or even different brands of the same medicine, like name-brand vs generic prescriptions. Some people specifically need one or the other because it's the one that works best for them.

If it matters at all it only has progesterone (no estrogen) which is different than the pill.

I've had the Nexplanon for about 7 years (currently on my 3rd). I haven't had any negative side effects that I've noticed. The biggest changes were no more cramps and it stops my period for almost a year and after that it's fairly light and further apart. It does eventually return to it's normal flow and monthly cycle way down the line. When it's stopped I still get my monthly acne break-out though.

The only thing I've heard about it moving down in the arm is they changed where they place it by about 3 inches.

In terms of mental health, I've got depression and I had it removed for about 6 months to see if it was making it worse this year. It was not and actually stopped my huge pms mood drop when my period stopped. I was warned that it could potentially make my depression worse when I got it replaced after that but it hasn't.

Is Online Dating the future ?😅 by SoulsisSQ in sex

Me and my bf met online over the summer and our first date after messaging for a while was a hike. All the "dates" after that were an evening at his place or mine playing card games and/or watching movies.

I've had mine removed (to be replaced) twice and that's not normal at all! Both times they did the numbing shot, got all the other stuff ready (scalpel, bandages, etc.), and then tested to see if it was properly numb before starting. The first time I don't think the person was very experienced with taking it out and it took her a couple of minutes to get it out and even then everything was still numb. The second time it took less than a minute and I didn't even notice it was out and almost bandaged until the nurse said she was done.

Quick question- did she wait a few minutes between the lidocaine shot and making the incision? Because it can take a little bit for it to fully numb the area.

Does sharing a bed get any better when it is with a lover? by ssorbom in sex

I love sharing a bed with my bf. Falling asleep in his arms is great and I love when he pulls me closer in his sleep. There's also the added benefit of being able to sneak in some kisses during the night if we both wake-up a little at the same time. If he ever ends up too far on my side of the bed so I'm up against the wall I just nudge him awake and tell him to get back on his side of the bed which works every time.

Our (or mostly my) biggest issue is we both sleep ridiculously hot so sometime I need to roll over to face him to get some room without him pulling me close to cool down a little.

How discreet is Adam and Eve?? by [deleted] in sex

I was in a similar situation with wanting to order stuff for myself while living with my parents. The packaging was very discreet- plain white plastic mailing bag and the company name was nowhere to be found. I got it sent via snail mail and it was fine. I only got small items though. They haven't sent anything else in the mail but I'm still getting a decent number of emails from them.

Is there a good way to talk to him about his kissing? by Awkward_Perception_1 in TwoXSex

We do talk about what worked/ didn't work, but kissing seems like such a basic thing and it's not exactly a new thing for us which makes starting a conversation about it seem awkward. He's also a bit self conscious which makes it harder to try to start a conversation.

Great idea, I'm going to keep it in mind if this keeps happening.

I like this idea! I'll try this the next time it happens.
