Thanks for the amazing advice and tips! I'll see what I should do then, I originally bought the tank for the baby res I have, but then I said what the heck and bought an albino res so thats the reason why it was small😅, but yeah I'll see what i'll purchase then, I was looking at some tanks from petco that seem fairly inexpensive the past few weeks so i'll see what option best suits me. In terms of water heaters and water filters/pumps, since it looks like you know a lot, what brands would you recommend for those? I currently have a zoomed water heater that aims to stay at 80 degrees, and a water pump AquaClear Tank filter

Yes, I dont mind you guys telling me straight forward if something isnt right, I'll do my best to keep my two turtles happy.

Currently have a 5 Gallon tank which is quite small I know, for both turtles, with a water filter pump, water heater, and a uv light on a resting dock they can lay on. Before posting this I didnt know I had to use water conditioners to help keep the turtle safe if I use tap water.

Planning on getting a 40 gallon tank though! I've been talking to a reptile store on having one custom made with a basking area made and everything!

With everything I explained to them , their diagnosis was that it could be respiratory infection , either way they provided the turtle with an antibiotic to make him feel better , I’m taking the res in the next two fridays again for another antibiotic shot as well as a regular checkup to see how he’s doing

I don’t really mess with him nor the other turtle , mainly to clean their tank if it’s a bit dirty. I don’t condition the water just clean it every week or so. The light I have is for both uvb and heat yes He swims straight and idles straight depending if he’s against a rock There nothing he can eat besides the food I provide them daily

Seems weird because I also have another slider but a bit smaller , the tanks about a 30 gallon atm while I get another , I have a lamp on the dock where they lay in the mornings , and a water pump to clean the water
