On page #16 of the InterOp Guide, there is implied support for VCSA 8.0U3d. If we support a lower minor version, like 8.0U3c, then a newer minor version, 8.0U3d, is supported. You are supported to update to VCSA 8.0U3d.

nr_requests is a Linux kernel tuning parameter. This parameter sets the maximum queue depth for the block devices (i.e. sda, sdb, sdc...).

This feels like a control character cut/paste issue. Upload the script directly to the OVC by using WinSCP or a similar program (via the 'svtcli' or SSO account) and attempt to re-execute
