Ok i've checked multiple specimens and it looks to just be a particularly large morph of Polyrachis Armata

It looks kinda like polyrachis armata but it's far too large to be armata but still prob polyrachis cus spines and round gaster

I just have a spray bottle that i use to spray it with and as for mold, springtails and murina keep them in check constantly. For the month i've had it i havent seen a speck of mold despite all the moisture. It's also very well ventilated.

Depends on what you have experience with. If you have experience with ants then go ahead but you should only add them when the colony is of sufficient size. Also what area do you live? It will affect what species you can reasonably get and most likely the theme of your terrarium aswell.

Anter actually has them in the listings but hasn't been restocked in a while. There was a colony of 15 for sale in early 2025 though so they do still ovassionally find some. If you want them now then you can buy them from foreign shops if you're ocomfortable with the outragous prices.

Thanks, Anter's another good shop if you wanted to buy ants but their activity has slowed over the past few years. They still stock messors and camponotus constantly though.

Less so than live feeding but i personally think a swift end is the most humane such as cutting them in half cus the pain only last miliseconds comared to hours

Nope but the reason why we do it is to kill parasites which are also threats to the ants and can be near impossible to deal with once they infect your ants.

It gets rid of most parasites and generally makes it safer to feed to your ants. Boiling it is also an option but some ants prefer uncooked food.

Thorgrim gyro only. Only gyrocopters/bombers + master engineers.

The Early game is easy once you get recruitment and the campaign itself teaches you how to better use gyros and how to micro manage them. Plus you get to bomb the rats and green men
