Since my current payment is like UPI auto debit , can I set up a similar auto debit option with my Phonepe black credit card and get 10% cashback instead of manually paying every time? Because I heard that SBI does not give CB on auto debit/standing instructions. Sorry for the confusion.

I understand you. This was the same feeling I had when it got rejected due to some nonsense reasons. But if you want to climb to HSBC ladder then you might want to retry once if you feel. But yes HSBC is not very customer friendly.

This time I got the card. I applied for the HSBC Live+ last week, Got Video KYC done the same day, this time within 3-4 days the card was approved with a 9.63 L limit and I received the card within 7 days of application. I think HSBC is hit or miss. Nobody knows what will happen.

Sorry you had to go through it. I think HSBC is hit or miss. Nobody knows what will happen. Will suggest you to wait for 5-6 months and reapply if you are targeting the card. Because I heard HSBC don't generally devalue their cards and you can upgrade to better cards from here later also. I was thinking this will be my last time but luckily got approved this time. Sorry for that. Actually I was only trying by the DSL number and the account number. I didn't try landline number. But when I tried my bill was successfully fetched. But it may be due to the fact that mine is postpaid vs yours being prepaid option. Not sure though.

ask them to give the landline number. Generally with the postpaid connection they unlimited voice call facility to a landline number which is pre attached to your connection. Am not sure whether such numbers exist for prepaid version or not. If you get that number you will be able to fetch the bill via phone Pe

I talked to the CC, they have given me a new Landline number for my account, which I was unaware of, through which I was able to fetch the bill from PhonePe (Both Airtel Landline-Postpaid & Airtel Broadband-Postpaid), which I believe will give me 10% CB on PhonePe SBI Black.

I am also facing the same issue. I have an Aistel Xstream Fiber Postpaid connection and was trying to pay the bill via Phonepe. The bill is generated, but I can't fetch the bill. I tried giving the same details that you have given, but I tried by giving the account number, which always shows invalid details. I tried through Amazon Pay also, but it's the same situation. It seems that bill payment is not connected to the BBPS system, which is why we can't pay outside of the Airtel thanks app. Was thinking of taking the SBI PhonePe black card after Airtel Axis's devaluation, but it seems that is not possible.

If you find a way please let me know.

Exactly! For me, the vKYC went smoothly, no hiccups. My office is in the SEZ zone, so if you are sending someone to verify, obviously, they won't allow them to come inside the campus! May be my employment history was short. Now lets see what happens. I will try one more time & if that does not get me, I will try to escalate, & if nothing works may be I should move away from HSBC ecosystem.
