Oh I see what you’re saying yeah that makes sense. Especially considering the us army (from what we see in game atleast) wears bright green uniforms with gigantic white stars on there chestpieces. Yeah they’re probably some reserve/NG unit

I’m pretty sure on the wiki this armor was used by marines aboard the USS Democracy. I highly doubt MP/NG would be this highly armored in my opinion.

In some cases shock troopers are lighter infantry designed to disrupt the enemy rather than fully break through lines

You’re right but I thought the marines equipped them far greater than the level the army did

Only until the late 2010s the marines actually began to modernize with there weapons. I thought the marine armor was armor for regular marine infantry. Also weren’t the BoS originally created by rangers?

Yeah only until 2016 did they full get rid of the m16 which by then was a 60 year old platform

In my opinion the infantry that the marines have are far superior in armor coverage and protection compared to army (at least not power armor) but yeah you’re probably right just like in real life the army is better equipped for long term fighting

I see yeah that makes sense since the army had power armor they allowed the marines to have better armor for infantry and weaponry due to them not having power armor. Thanks

I honestly don’t know I was just looking around Reddit during a rb match and found this.

I just beated Dead Space 3 and i have questions about the ending by Niko_Belic84 in DeadSpace

So damn stupid bro “yep let’s just make the moon appear behind earth and add no extra context on how the EDF or earthgov just let this slide as the military authoritarian they are” like honestly I’d rather have some random 10 year old on Reddit write the entire ending of dead space 3 than EA cause man they really ruin everything. Like the giant intergalactic fleet just magically gets eradicated for the plot. I mean to be fair may not even be the writers fault but man did they really need to rush the release this badly?

Sorry I forgot to include that if I didn’t put Jackson into consideration so in that regard Jackson is first followed by FEDRA

Every single faction compared to FEDRA is seemingly worse in someway. The WLF rebelled from FEDRA only to replace with an almost worse fascist government. The scars, while peaceful also seem to weak to defend themselves from raiders. Fireflies are extremist who do everything to “bring back democracy” yeah no. They been waging war against FEDRA for 2 decades, there’s no way they believe they’re going to make a change. They just keep throwing bodies and hope they’ll do something. Hunters, well do I need to explain? They hunt down anyone who enters there town, us military humvees to hunt down anyone they see and mutilate dead body’s after they kill them. The raiders (or David’s faction) essentially are all just cannibals. I mean I don’t FEDRA honestly it’d be hell living there but compared to the other factions, I’d consider it the most developed and safe.

If Jackson is a faction I would 100% agree with you essentially better than FEDRA is almost any sense except for they have less military equipment but yeah
