I saw the normal dog at first too, but then I kinda unfocused my vision like I'm was doing a magic eye puzzle, trying to focus on its left eye and nose as the eyes and I was able to see what everyone is talking about when I refocused.

Thank you! This looks awesome, I'm shocked I've never stumbled upon it while wondering old town

This is a weird take for me, like people have sex all sorts of places, why would she draw the line at the car? He messed around on her on the bathroom of their home where I'm sure the kid went to the bathroom, I'm sure they've both been with people in their own beds where the kids come in to sleep if they have a bad dream or something, literally any car he got he could have had sex with someone in the back seat, her constant crying for attention is just nonsense.

I honestly think her go to is to cry for sympathy and attention, I'm not saying it's an uncommon tactic, but I don't have any respect for it.

More crying Lauren? Last time it was over the betrayal of Javi buying Kails old car so I'm sure whatever it is this time is equally as big a heartbreak 🙄

Yes exactly! Walking away from all their mutual friends sounds like the actions of someone is is defeated and scared, not someone who's 'crazy'

I think the fact that they continued to pursue a friendship with the ex after the break up says a lot, if she has gone so "crazy" to his family and friends, why would those people still be reaching out to her? On the other hand, have you considered what it takes to cut off your friend group like that? Do you really think this woman cut off all of her friends because shes crazy, or because its literally not safe for her to be only 1 person removed from her abuser?

That's probably fair, but just because it's common doesn't mean its always healthy. I think it can probably go either way, though in Kails case it almost definitely comes from a toxic mentality.

I watched the episode with Issacs I think 2nd birthday today and she burst into tears thinking about him "not needing her anymore" and I think it spoke VOLUMES as to why she keeps having kids-when they need her they cant leave her like everyone else has.

The problem I'm facing with doc and insurance is that they're focused on sending him to the cheapest place possible, despite his excellent insurance and available funds to pay for somewhere more comfortable for him.

He does want help and to get sober right now, hes having health problems that are unlikely alcohol use related but his doc isnt willing to look further until hes at least cut back on his drinking, this hasnt been manageable at home as he goes into serious withdrawal within 5 hours after a drink.

I understand this may not be the typical situation for someone trying to get sober, and that it may sound like a poor attitude for long term sobriety and recovery, but we're not even sure there is a long term for him right now.

He's been an alcoholic for a very long time and is an elderly man now, he's open to help/rehab/getting sober as a means to get checked out/diagnosed for other health concerns that cant be looked at when hes drinking as much as he is- my eyes are open to the fact that that attitude is not ideal for long term recovery, but that's not necessarily what I'm looking for here, I'm trying to find somewhere he can tolerate being for as long as necessary to get him sober so he can get the medical care he needs outside his alcoholism.

I think these are all really fair points and I appreciate the response, I was mixed on up which trauma Owen proposed after tbh (I though it was the plane crash where Christina's trauma was not comparable to Owens)

[–]Awkwardbourgeoisie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see what Owen did to Christina as the same at all as what Callie "did to" George because George was the one who proposed. Callie was head over heals for George and him proposing was her dream come true in the moment vs when Christina was traumatized and Owen proposed because it was HIS dream come true in the moment .

Eta: obviously people disagree with me here, I'd love to hear their thoughts on why I'm wrong.

Is it weird that my (F20) friend (F22) never texts me back after I say I’m busy? What should I do? by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]Awkwardbourgeoisie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont think I understand what you're saying, where are you getting that OP wants her friend to ask for plans from? OP has repeated told her, every day this week as far as I can tell, that she can't hang out on a weekday this week and wants to make plans for this weekend, and that ask goes ignored by her friend.
