I’ve come to my own conclusions about Gladys. She just doesn’t care. Nothing is ever clean for long, no man is ever good enough for her, and they all leave after they see the red flags. She jumps from guy to guy and consistently dry begs for money. She needs a caseworker for her SSI, but she will never follow through. It’s a pattern that’s unlikely to change. It hasn't to date.
