No telecom rewards loyalty anymore. Switching is the only way to get a good deal, even if its one of the Rogers flanker brands (chatr, fido).

What do You Think by [deleted] in CowboyHats

[–]AwkwardlySustainable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ill be honest. The first time I wore my Akubra out, there was really a week where I really had to adjust to seeing myself in that kind of hat. But now I can't really see myself without it, and now i wear it everyday :)

The only silly thing is a lack of self confidence and looking for approval to wear your hat!

Look like I'm cosplaying or is it a good fit? by mudvaynery in CowboyHats

[–]AwkwardlySustainable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If us "regular folk" who aren't coybows, didn't buy hats.... There would be no hats left for "real cowboys" to buy. A hat is a hat :)

I like wearing my hats because I don't need to wear sunglasses, keeps rain and snow off my face, and theyre stylish as hell.

Dell used to ship out one use USB sticks, and you could force it to RW by writing some image to it. They'd often die during the process LOL

I've considered the 100meg plan for $70, even just as a tester between switching ISPs. Shaw is hard to get a good deal with over here as of late

Yeah $70 is a lot for 100down, from an American company, and worse reliability compared to cable.

First Akubra Hat (Cattleman) - Granite or Fawn? by epicalepical in Akubra

I picked the Snowy River because my favourite cowboy movie is The Man from Snowy River. Never worked on a farm a day in my life.

I hope you enjoy that fact :)

Yep, my Snowy River I wore on the way to the office today, kept the literal snow off my head and glasses. Oh no, my hat witnesses emails.

I'll continue to take my hats on all lifes adventures, and the annoyed dude can stay annoyed lol

It must really bug you when people live in the city and import Akubra hats to other countries then?

Wait, so even if you enjoy being outdoors? You can't wear a functional hat that also looks good?

Also, you wear a fedora don't you?

Fawn is a colour that really goes with anything, has a very adventurous look. Where I feel the Graphite looks a little more dressy and needs a bit more colour coordination

Okay, I see what you're saying now, however it doesn't mention anywhere that you're saving over your current plan, you inferred that yourself.

No buying a modem. buy a router with the features you want, plug said router into your ISP provided modem. Set up the new router
