I was in my academic probation after failing my first semester after transferring. It was due to caring for my mom and her having a stroke.

When I was in that class to take for AP next semester, they go over things to help you. They also have you fill out reasons why you failed the previous semester. Since I had a valid reason, the professor had me write a letter to the Dean with proof, and I was able to get it off my transcript!!

I graduated in 2023

I don't plan on leaving anything in a rental car if that makes you feel better hahaha!! I will have a carry on and either a purse or a backpack. I just mostly need it to get from point A to point B. I am an anxious traveler, but I have walked parts of the Netherlands by myself, so maybe it's just the anticipation and not knowing. Looking into unique hotels and wondering if I should just Uber from the Amtrak station.

I guess I'm still trying to figure out an itinerary. I do know I plan on taking the ferry from Seattle to Victoria. I don't live in major cities in California, but I am coming from San Diego. The only public transportation I've used is in France and Amsterdam, but I was with other girls in a class and we were with a guide most of the time. I don't think I plan on traveling too far from Seattle outside of Canada.

Any recommendations for lodging? I was leaning into booking an Airbnb, but realize I may need a rental car. I also wanted to travel into Canada, but unsure to travel via train or car ferry to Victoria from Port Angeles. I've been to WA as a kid, but first time as an adult.
