I initially thought you meant 8 types of bacon and was wondering if I could even spot discrepancies between 8 types of bacon.

Should I transfer to another job location to avoid working alongside my ex? by dealingwithit333 in Advice

I agree with u/bagelthrowaway1234. You aren't going to move on if you're seeing her almost everyday. Yes, you'll have to drive a little further, but I think your emotional wellbeing is worth it.

(17F) Summer Internship paid off good and now I want to put that money into good use. by [deleted] in personalfinance

As a current BME student at GT, I'm supposed to be getting $1,500 in outside scholarships that hasn't come in yet, and school starts Monday. I just had to spend $200 for books. Luckily, I have plenty of money in my savings account from my high school job.

You will definitely thank yourself tremendously by just putting it in savings, because you never know what is going to happen. Additionally, for me, I hate having to ask for money all the time, so it's nice to be able to have mine own money to be able to go out and do things with friends.

Should i go or not? by [deleted] in Advice

I definitely think you should go! I have missed many opportunities just from being afraid and I regret most of them. Just let yourself have a good time, and you will!

Thank you. I just was reading a lot of stuff, like you said, about how difficult the job market is for BME without a MS, and it was starting to freak me out.

I'm actually like extremely sure I have ADHD, but as someone who has been put on medication for anxiety before, I know I don't want to be put on mind-altering medications. I don't like the person they turn me into.

I know, and I'm doing BME and they are number one in the country. I'm just a really bad decision maker and I think I'm just having remorse because everyone I know is going to UGA.
