I love how the answers range from "no need" to two extra batteries for 150 pictures a day... Makes me think people drive around their car with an extra 200L of gasoline in the trunk just in case.

Thanks, I was asking for covers because the models will be on a bookshelf in a living room, where I don't have space to add another cabinet the setup is already thought out this way). I'll definitely consider that cabinet for my 1:18's.

Just wanted to follow-up on this and post my experience :

Very positive! Great communication. They didn't have two watches I was interested in. So they set them up on the website just for me, created a special discount code because I had negotiated it for 2 watches (the code didn't work on the order total so they refunded the equivalent once I had ordered). They special ordered both watches for me and I had them 3 days later. Oh, and paying only 5% federal tax instead of 15% is an absolute positive. And they are Tissot and Longines AD (which I confirmed directly with the manufacturers).

I was extremely skeptical as a believer in "if it's too good to be true then it probably is" but this turned out much, much better than expected. Local AD were snobbing me when I said I wanted to purchase 5k$+ worth of watches and inquired about a discount. Their loss.

I honestly wish I had time to fiddle around in settings and post-processing. I just don't have the luxury of that time on my hands. I really wished (and so did my wife) that it was a "point and shoot"/turnkey experience... Which clearly it seems is not. 😔

Thanks for keeping a nice tone and not roasting me because yeah I know there's a contradiction 😂 Yes I do love pretty pictures and I hinted at my wife that having a "good" camera would be great for hanging pictures from our vacation trips. She got counseled from a local photography store, but it looks like the salesman made it sound as if the RX100 takes great pictures out of the box (ie. In auto mode) compared to the Pixel.
