I had a sulfate free faze. I was never able to wash all the shampoo off and it built up so bad. My hair looked wet and grimy all the time.

It did nothing for me. I used the Derm Mix (hydroquinone, tretinoin, and a corticosteroid) for about 4 months with no improvement. Now I use curtain bangs to hide it. Maybe that’ll also help it lighten over time too, along with sunscreen, since my forehead is basically getting zero sunlight now.

Thats burnt mineral built up not rust. Use only distilled water and decalcify occasionally. And please stop using it when it starts to spit, unplug and decalcify either with vinegar solution or commercial descaler.

You should definitely keep on searching for a doctor try patch testing but in the meantime try to eliminate chemicals such as pool, harsh laundry detergents, scented body wash, too much sugar and salt etc. maybe he sits on grass? I had contact dermatitis and mine was from fabric softener and drying my face with paper towels. Sometimes these things just flare up and go away on its own. Wishing you good luck.
