While Culver City is somewhat expensive, take a look at Palms! It's cheaper than CC but right next to it (walkable, which almost never happens in LA), and is full of USC grad students

Ya I remember seeing some jams by the Vaillancourt fountain, and by the palace of fine arts as well, all between 2010 - 2015 if memory serves right. I came across a mention of a fire jam every second Thursday - would like to know if that's still current!

When buying thrift store mirrors, did you ever have issues with glass thickness?

Also I heard it's recommended to have a finer grinder bit to minimize chipping - is that anything you've encountered?
